Happy HALF A YEAR!!

Sweet Baby Girl you are half a year old. I could not ask for a better baby. You are a true angel and such a blessing. I soak up every moment I can with my babies. I love being a Mommy and love being so involved with my children. You are still nursing and hooray for Mommy!! My ultimate goal was 6 months and I made it with NO formula!! I am going to take it one day at a time from here out. Dr Clarke said you have no sign of teeth any time soon (which is a huge difference from Jackson who got 2 at 3.5 months). I started pumping and giving you a bottle once a day, but you still like to nurse after for comfort most of the time. I let Daddy try to give you a bottle while I went to a girls night. You took the bottle and then wanted no part of him. He could not get you settled or to sleep. You normally are asleep every night at 7:00. When I got home and went to your room you lifted your head as soon as you heard my voice, kicked your feet, and smiled from ear to ear. You melt my heart. I started you on solids a few weeks ago. Your favorite is avocado and banana mixed together, oh and butter nut squash. Yes I am making your baby food. What else...oh you still have the calcification on your head from being in the birth canal for so long. It has gone down alot, but not as much as Dr Clarke would like. If it is not completely gone at 9 months we will have to go to the Neuro Dr (just to be safe). Other than that you are 100% healthy and could not look any better. You make me feel so complete, I know I was meant to be a Mother. There is nothing and no one that would or will ever come before my babies. Ava you are my everything!
